Nothing fancy. Just born to play.
Two tight grain shaft with old mason micarta ferrules and pooldawgdud tips.
She plays, I guarantee it.
Played with it before finishing it. Really happy with the hit.
One of the best hitting I've made.

Very nice, Joey.

Why do you think it is one of your better hitters?

The wood selection?

The overall composition?

I picked up a Brazilian Rosewood yesterday that is remarkable. I have a Bubinga from Joey that I have played with for years but this is at almost another level. Fortunately Joey lives close enough to me that I am able to visit fairly frequently. Consequently, I have been able to hit with many, many of his cues over the years and because of his diligence to all aspects of his construction including especially the quality of his coring and wood selection they all hit consistently. If they don't they don't go any place.
