Tad flat faced - 08-08-2019, 05:52 PM

edit
i received cue
it is still in good condition
still for sale
.........................
i bought this cue under the assumption it was an ivory joint and titleist conversion
i sold it to heinosuke1 under that assumption with many pictures
he was able to take the bumper off and call tad
what he was told was its from 2004
titlist style
and no ivory joint
i originally told him before all this if he was not happy
return it since that is how i do my deals
he is returning it
so its back on the market
$2500 firm
pm me for more pics and to discuss

I own a very similar Tad Hoppe. Mine has the big pin but a steel joint, not the Juma this will most likely be.
The won’t make you a “Hoppe” cue anymore, but when they did the tag was $4K +

$2500 is a killer deal.

iMO, the cue would be worth more if the joint was a flat faced ivory joint. It’s been said Tad did not
produce a bunch of ivory joints too so that would by itself raise the cue’s inherent value but......there’s
always a butt when cues are involved, the ivory restrictions nowadays limits the marketability if the joint
had actually been ivory. It should sell regardless of the joint type since it’s really priced to move fast.

TAD 4pt players are great cues, someone will be happy if they pick this up.

I sincerely doubt that.
