Climate Communism - 09-21-2019, 08:24 AM

The greatest threat to humanity is nuclear weapons and the latent violence of mankind.

Now these Hollywood folks and children are telling us it's the climate.

https://www.breitbart.com/entertainm...rs-are-stupid/

It's not that the world will heat up so much as to make the earth uninhabitable as it is more probable, that there will be a nuclear winter.

Look at all the hostile rhetoric that is leveled at Russia. You would think that our leaders would like to have a better relationship with Russia as they are loaded with nukes.

The Cold War had rules. This brave new world is really very intrepid to shake off reality.

Sir Mick Jagger who has never flown public in decades is lecturing folks about carbon.

It's a crock.

I would think someone would comment on this phenomenon.

Although the numbers are shocking and increasing, still relatively few people commit instant and direct suicide.

However, many people are doing things that, however delayed and indirectly, amount to suicide, anyway. Abusing their body to a premature failure and preventable early death. Drinking to liver failure, for one example, and everybody knows they should stop and/or cut way back (maybe even them, in more sober moments), or there will be a severe price to be paid. I put the dangers of AGW in this category, and about in the same time scale-- a very few more decades of business as usual, and then remediation will be close to impossible. Unlike livers, there are no climate system transplants available.

Ironically, the nuclear winter hypothesis was based on the same physics radiative forcings analysis that the AGW theory uses. So it's rich to see someone believe the former but doubt the latter.

And I guess it was missed by many, but upon review and recalculation (you know, science), the predicted nuclear winter was downgraded to 'nuclear fall,' as early as 1990. Frankly, reaching the high temps of the thousands of degrees that happens first, which would either outright vaporize or immolate everything standing, is the first order problem in a nuclear war, in any case.

The point of modern propaganda isn't only to misinform or push an agenda. It is to exhaust your critical thinking, to annihilate truth.

― Garry Kasparov

... the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either -- but right through every human heart -- and through all human hearts.

Nuclear Winter is a phrase I threw out and it certainly is dramatic. I did not think of it in technical dimension.

If you don't think that a general nuclear exchange would be the most toxic event that ever effected mankind then you need your head examined.

Ya know, science man...... the atom dude........

The Climate man can adapt to. Thermonuclear war on the other hand is forever.

Mankind is in denial.

I am always especially troubled when I hear folks talking about "winning" a nuclear war. I've often wondered if these braintrusts imagine exactly what that "winning" would look like.

It is a branch of cultural marxism. The planet/environment/climate is just another fractional group that must be championed. They split off from the mainline progressive marxist movement back in the 70s I think. The whole carbon tax thing is just for funding their political campaigns. They aren't going to fix anything any more than giving Obama a trillion dollars resulted in "shovel ready jobs".

Oh, did you hear, they just declared victory over the ozone. Yep the ozone is going back to normal cuz we reduced emissions of whatchama things and making women buy hair spray out of pump bottles. Never mind that the scientists said the ozone hole was due to normal variations and 85% of all the ozone destroying chlorofluorocarbons are produced in one place and they are still doing it. And never mind that the reductions regulation had a clause in it that did not apply to industrial sources but them pump bottles did the trick. Now all you have to do is elect more communists and everything will be just fine.

Don't believe everything you think.

In " Rule for Radicals " Saul Alinsky lays it all out. Organize around the " environment " and then use it for political ends.

It's an emotional tool for the Marxist to make their moves. This is not to say that pollution is not an issue.

SA was a guy that was very effective. Obama when he was a community organizer accomplished next to nothing.

Land fill rubbish dumps and leachate, are a significantly more important issue than any climate related anything. That is the real man made problem that will lead to our demise and the next lot of diseases to be harmful to mankind.

Nadler compares climate change to a world war. The human hippo plays to the masses.

He claim CC would be worse than a world war. Is he daft?
