Moori don`t have delamination problems, not if you get the real thing.
A Medium Moori is slightly softer than a Zan Medium.

Question - 03-19-2017, 10:31 AM

I have several Mezz shafts WD 700 that I use on my cues with 5/16-14 joints. I am thinking of buying a Manzino with a 3/8-12 joint would any Mezz fit on that?

No, not without modification. A 3/8" pin is much bigger than a 5/16"
But It`s no problem to drill out the brass insert. Plug the shaft and rethread it to 3/8-12.
You will need to find someone who can live toole the threads for you, as 3/8-12 isn`t a regular tap size.

Will do, I was down to the WX900 or ExPro but at 30" and a changed tip, the ExPro shaft was over $400 and that's just hard for me to wrap my head around.

I'll wait till maybe the end of the year when some used ExPro shafts start hitting the market.

Thanks for all your help Kim Bye in sharing your knowledge of Mezz products.

Hi guys. I have the EX Pro shaft. I am thinking of changing the tip to a Zan Hybrid Max. What change can I expect going from the stock soft to the ZHM. Thanks.

I'm putting a ZanHM on my 30" WX900 sometime next week. I'll let you know what it feels like.

So I got the WX900 in and shot about 20 hours with it and I know that's not a lot of time but I didn't like the feel of it in my left hand. The hit feel was great but I'm just not used to 12mm.

I love my 12.5mm wx700 so what I decided to do was send back the wx900 and I went ahead and decided to upgrade to the 30" ExPro. I should have the new shaft by Monday.

I am not a fan of soft tips but I will give the Zan Premium Soft a chance but just in case I have a Zan Hybrid Max ready to go.

I just purchased a used Mezz EC7 with a Hybrid Pro 2 shaft. I just had to . I really wanted to see for myself the difference with the united joint and HP shaft and my wavy joint ExPro.. I may go up to a medium tip. We'll see. It should have it around Tuesday.
