Oh I know. I just thought it funny the guy said something along the lines of “you’ll have trouble with these guys unless you get a big spot or could win the US open”
I know it was 4 years later but still, he won it. In 06 his “vacation” I imagine was a scouting trip to pick up some cash and learn the American way
I understand. 10 years?...whew....I wouldn't remember playing any one person ten years later, unless they "were someone". In that case, i wouldn't ever forget.
2007 was the year he DID shake up the pool world. Predator 10ball WC IIRC.
I ran into him in 2006 at the Cue Club in Vegas, watched him for a bit and knew the kid had "it".
I knew who he was, and wanted to play him just to play him. I really used to like to pay for 'lessons'. He acted like he was there for the league tournament though.
At that point I asked for the 6 out and the breaks, but couldnt get him to budge. :thumbup:
