Hard to believe it's been that long. When I lived in NYC in the 90's and was trying to get better at this game George was the only elite player who was willing to play me cheap sets. I think I learned more from my many times playing him than I did playing anyone else.
As a fellow member of the NYC pool scene, I knew Ginky well. He and his close friend Tony Robles dominated the Northeastern pool scene in the late 1990's and early 2000's, and their rivalry was something special to behold.
Ginky was a very secial player and he is sorely missed here in NYC.
