In my view, having announced it, Matchroom should have made another announcement about a delay or cancellation.
Hasn't matchroom done this before, just skipped an event because the scheduling was difficult?
I recall a world cup of Pool, or world pool masters that skipped a year, with no reason given.

Was never a real thing, Matchroom confirmed it was just a "concept" proposal they put out to their tv clients.
