Coker Cue question

I just got my Coker cue today from Tom and realized that it hits quite different from my friends old Coker cue(2006). The cue hits great. I'm going to hit more balls and update my reviews.

Well why do you think it hit s different? I assume it's standard maple shaft so tip, ferrule, taper and diameter of shaft will make a difference, also the joint.
That's a damn nice looking cue, play with it a while then start adjusting the little things!
