Ko breaks dry and Shaw hangs the 1 ball in the corner pocket. Ko runs out to go up 4-1. Shaw spinning his wheels so far.

Ko misses an easy, nearly straight-in 3 ball. Shaw makes a nice rail-first shot on the 3 to get shape and runs out to make it 4-2.

Ko plays a bad safe on the 1 but gets fortunate when the cueball snuggles up the 8. Shaw misses a tough shot on the 1 having to bridge over the 8, and hangs the 1 in the corner pocket. Ko runs out to go up 6-2.

Shaw started slow and was out of the match against Ko last year and we know what happened. Shaw is the comeback king / clutch king.

Ko makes a big error going from the 4 to the 5, gets stuck behind the 7. Ko jumps and hits the 5, but leaves a shot. Shaw runs out to make it 6-3.
