I am just going to put this right here:

Excellent brand! Senco is used extensively in architectural woodwork, casework, furniture, etc. I bet you never have any trouble with your new one.

Best regards,
Boxcar

Oh, is that one limited to 3/16 crown only?

This is the company that produced the Duo-Fast 5020 stapler. Duo-Fast no longer offers it but many dealers offer the Omer. I have used these guns for years and find them very durable and maintenance free.

looks solid! I went with the Senco because of the 5 year warranty. Did a bit of research and upholstery industry uses them. Thanks for sharing.

You had me sort of second guessing myself here. SFT10XP F-WIRE is what showed up today! Shoots the staples I posted above. , I ordered it at 20% off on zoro.com. They did not carry the staples and I ordered those off Amazon. The staples won't be here til next week, but, they were the cheapest I could find on the net $15 a box of 10k so I got 3 boxes for now. Thanks to all who posted. Will update this post after I get the thing going!

Add on, might be less wear on the hose!
Kind of sucks having the stapler already
and waiting for components! Patience is
something I am working on :)

When I prayed to The Lord for patience, I told Him I wanted it now.

Nice staple gun and for less than $200 ???? Mechanics in fields other than auto repair have it made when it comes to tool cost. Im happy when I get can get almost anything i need for less than $200 but that rarely happens.

I don't know much about pool tables, but curious do you prefer staples or an adhesive like RKC sells( or am I too stupid to realize that glue and staples are used together?)

A proper rail upholstery requires staples.

Tables that have good wood slate backers get staples.

All newer Diamond tables get the adhesive method.

Tables with stapled out slate backers also get adhesive method.

Switching all my commercial installs to adhesive so I dont have to remove staples.

What about when its time for a recover and the the cloth is installed with adhesive, do you need to get all of the old adhesive off? If so do you scrape it or use chemicals??

Depends. I use the RKC250 now.

For a table I already used it on, no scraping or chemicals. The adhesive will reactivate when you reapply new. At some point I am sure it will need to be stripped. I use Kleen Strip Adhesive Remover and scraper.

For tables that have other adhesives, I remove it the same way as above and start new. Removing staples is a pain and will be done at least every year or so on commercial installs.

For residential tables, I use staples. They get recovered so infrequently that the slate backers are good for a long time. I also do not use the same staples in the pockets, I use Arrow JT21 fine wire staples and a hand stapler on them to avoid damaging the slate backers. I hope I answered your question:)

Love it!!

I just finished my first use of my new Senco Stapler and I am very satisfied with my purchase!

It is very quiet and super efficient! I only have to run 75psi to it and it puts the staples in perfect. Does not counter sink them!! The swivel air input is a nice feature to, makes it move around with a lil less stress on the air hose. Just registered it for the 5 year warranty. I was at the Diamond factory and noticed they use Senco Staplers to! Normally priced at $187.52 and got it 20% off for a total of $150.02, swivel outlet $12, 30k staples $52.00. Staples are cheaper than t-50's by quite a bit and are larger. Oiling it and maintaining it right I should get many years of work out of it!
