How would this be listed or worded. I couldn't find a reference on EBay or thru Google.

I built one based on Uniques design. I have had decent success with shafts on that Jig, using rubber tubing. Shafts could stay straight, or they could revert back in short order. I have done 2 for customers and one of my own that I made and it warped, so used that as a practice piece. The 2 that I did for customers worked ok. I don't charge for it, because it takes little time to do a shaft, and then, measure and reset the jig as many times as needed. And, I tell them as being free, there is no guarantee that your shaft will remain straight.

I built another in a Mill Shop. It was based on a larger Sanding Jig. I tried one shaft in it.
I thought it might work because of the larger clamping area.
No luck on that one as of yet, but only tried one shaft so far. We will see, but not really expecting much from it, based on what I saw.

Which well known Cue Company put out a Shaft Straightener in the last while. I can't remember the name at the moment, but if I remember this much, the results seemed to be favorable.

Can you post a link or a picture?

Samsara has had in inexpensive - and very effective - shaft straightener (which they sell) for many years. They invented and perfected it during the time when they were roughing and finishing Predator's shafts, since many of the Predator blanks that came in were too warped to install an insert properly.

I found the one video. Was Jacoby.

Here is the Samsara straightener. If they say it works, then it works. As Thomas said, they had to have something that worked well with warped Predator shafts.

With the Delrin grooved roller, it would be considerably easier on the shaft than the Metal Hook that Jacoby sells. I would try anything first. Just don't know how comfortable I would be, rolling a metal Hook up and down a piece of wood.
