No chance for Frost. Harsh reality

It is currently 6-5 to Alex
I know it's close and premature but you can tell frost is intimidated by Alex

Alex will win this match
Why?
Because he is much better player all round

Alex has not got out of second gear yet when he does Scott in big trouble

I'm watching so I know if Scott does the impossible and beats Alex I will retract my post but he just doesn't look in same caliber

He struggles to get out
Got more knowledge for sure but he misses too much simply

If Scott is missing balls and cant get out, he is the one who has jot hit his gear yet. Alex should have took advantage of that if its true.

Still a long way to go .
He is only down a few games .
When you play and your down 2 games do you feel like you can't win?

The opinion had nothing to do with thinking you can win
I'm sure Scott thought he could win and still thinks he can

Did you think you would lose to oscar when most at least those who have seen him shoot on the mezz tour recently pretty confident he would win

Simply an observation
The match may well go 4 days
However I can see only Alex prevailing based on some of Scott's misses and demeanor

It is early
I'm no Chris Bartram so I may be wrong
Just an opinion

I think it was over before the coin toss
But that doesn't mean Scott did
Nor did it mean you did against Oscar when it seemed s mismatch to most of us

Understand now ?

I'm not watching because I have no time.

How's the commentary? I tried to get 'BoX' a slot but Truck acted like he didn't even know who I was talking about.

I agree Alex is a great player and if I recollect he has shut Scott out before. When that happens or if you see a player at this level struggling its my belief its an attempt to tap into the mentality of the match. Were Frost to tap into the right mindset this match could swing the other direction fairly quickly. If he doesn't change some part of his approach Alex seems to have gained an upper hand and may keep it.

Scott mentioned on FB that he was ragged out from the night before. He said he is not making excuses for his play of the day, but that he was up late the night before, giving a ride home to his other half after work. He said that today he is going to sleep late and be refreshed and ready to rock and roll. :)

Of course, Alex defeated Scott last month, 5-1, which was his third title this year after topping the 2015 Buffalo Billiards Pro One-Pocket Championship held at the Metarie Pool Club in Louisiana.

I have no idea what the "Tilt" means in the above-referenced article title. :embarrassed2:

Alex is tough action, no matter what game he plays. If he catches a second gear, watch out. Alex's kryptonite is leather shoes. He can't stand wearing them. ;)

One would think that @ $25,000 per man he would've made other arrangements. To show that little respect to Alex's game is shocking. I'd be more than pissed if I was his backer.
Thankfully (at least right now) I bet the other way

I doubt many thought it was a mis match.......
I'm sure they thought DA had the nuts against Chris though
On any given day the scores of these matches could be reversed

I would think 'tilt' in this sense would refer to the old English sport of jousting....
...Alex is knocking people off their horses lately.

I like the cool way you handle things.

A guy in the pool hall wanted to rehash a big loss with a good gambler in our room...
....he replied "I only wanna lose it once, if it's okay with you.".

I would venture to guess you don't know Scott's overall record vs Alex (or even Efren as another example) or else you wouldn't have posted this comment. They have both had their share of wins vs the other guy. Alex is elite no doubt, but Scott also has an elite gear when he is on.

The Small Differences Matter

Small differences matter a lot in competitive play. Im playing two really good one pocket players right now. One of them plays better on Monday but not as good on Tuesday pretty consistent. We aren't as resilient the older we get and energy and health make a big difference. If you are tired at all that is the difference in having a highly tuned attention span for me. If I am rested and aware I get better position and closer to stuck safes behind other balls. If I am not I usually come up a little short, that's huge in one hole. The fact that Alex can deal with those shoes and still play like he does is a testament to his age and health advantage.
