Saw him in action on the table next to me at the Big Tyme Billiards tournament last month in Houston. He was playing a short stop in one pocket. I couldn't watch because I was in action my self, but I know he took down the cash.

Yes, he was playing and torturing Lil John

CJ Wiley challenged the top 100 players to play for cash?????

What does that mean? That he is willing to play, Busta, SVB, Dennis O, Rodney or any of these guys even?

To me, it means that he wants to play for money. I would imagine that everybody would want to negotiate their own game, some even some not.

Buddy Hall,
Is past his prime. Do you want to play him 9 ball? He still wins tournaments and play jammed up 9 ball, one pocket, and 10 ball. He gets a lot of action, but has to give up a lot weight to get it.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

Freddie<-------- Might play C J since he is past his prime?

Not me. I'm giving CJ his due. He IS past his prime. I think CJ would certainly agree to that.

Well OK,
Freddie, Right now at Buffalo Billiards, the worlds pool hall. Their is, Truman Houge, Greg Sullivan, Josh Roberts, Ronnie Wiseman, Mike Black, Richie Richeson, Cliff Joyner, Tre Baker, TimDog 24, from New York, and several other good pool players in the house. Last night big paper match up between Ronnie Wiseman VS Josh Roberts. Wise Lock, prevailed!

Freddie<---- Perhaps you would like to come on down and get some?
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

He's past his prime, but in his prime he proved himself against everyone in an era Hall of Famers.

he aint that far past his prime, he dont need glasses to read or otherwise and he is older than me. He has good genetics. he might not play like he did years ago but i'm sure with a years effort he wouldnt be far off his top speed,

And that would leave him a 2,step behind the best players

I know his game well, I have played at his places in Dallas for many years and have watched him and Roger Grif play a lot of people, but to say that there are only a few people that would take his action now....,

well I think theres a long list of people that would give it a try, maybe not a long list of american players, but a long list out of that top 100.

Okay, Where are they? The challenge is on the board.

Where are all the people on AZB who say they can run a 9-10 pack? Seems they should be able to make some money here. Well --- maybe some of them were exaggerating a little.

Seems to me anyone who says he can run 9 racks of 9-Ball should be able to give CJ a game.

I like the way Shane and Earl played that match in New York last week

I will gamble a LOT of once I get started back, playing a set every year or two doesn't exactly keep a player in stroke. We're editing this T.I.P.S. video today, and once it's finished I'll have plenty of time to play every day.

I like the way Shane and Earl played the match in New York last week, maybe I can play the USA's top 50 that way - that would sure get me in stroke.

Mr. C J Wiley,
Offered to play anyone in the top one hundred best players, for as low as $20.00 a game to whatever! Now that to me means it is about playing pool and not how much to play for but whoever wants to play!
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

lol...wont get into it too much, but wish I had Mars money to stake on this comment.

I have never met you C.J. Probably never will, but if we were to ever meet I know I would like you.

Reading these threads I picture in my mind a pack of little dogs chasing the big dog. Woof, woof, woof, finally the big dog turns around and says alright!, lets do it. Suddenly the pack skids to a stop and heads back to the porch. The big dog is left standing alone.

It is lonely at the top.

Yeah, I think Buddy is past his prime also. Just like a lot of us older players.

Buddy is one H*ll of a bar table player, but just can't compete consistently with the y0unger guns out there.

Facts are hard to face sometimes.
