sometimes I forget
there's a wide world of stuff on the web
and then I google something
and down a hole (or three), I go

found this one recently:
http://jbstein.com/billiards.htm

and with it, many more
some neat azb mentions
some broken links
but worth a share, I think

check it out
and if you find a good link
post it up

Never any billiards when it says pool and billiards :/

I get it
serious question tho
I'm not real hip
pool is pool
with different games of course
1-p, 14.1, banks, rotation, etc.
then you got snooker, english 8-ball
chinese 8-ball, golf, bumper pool
and carom, 3-c, etc.

all these games use sticks balls and a table, etc.
should we not group these disciplines under one "billiards" umbrella?
and if not "billiards," then what?

I checked this site after you posted it. I read the post about stroke and I think it has helped me. It talked about other muscles trying to steer your back and forth to the left and right and to relax your forearm to let it hang straight down. When I did this I noticed my grip had to loosen more to get everything hanging with no tension. I didn't think my grip was too tight before but apparently it was. Now my stroke goes back and forth smooth as silk with no side motion. It needs a little practice of course. I had never heard about this element of the stroke explained that way before. Thanks for the link.
