Monster John from Miami. Also Demarco played Jett even full rack banks 3 ahead for 500. Demarco won. He beat Jett 3 in a row, they played again , the same outcome he won three games in a row.

You shouldn't use those lines from the disco era, it gives people the impression you were out dancing to that stuff. We all know you ain't that old.

Harry Platis played Tony C. 1 hole, getting 10-5, 10-6, with all the breaks. thousand a game. Harry loses three.

Darren A. matched up again tonight, this time with Hennesse. Playing 10 ahead for 3 K. Hennesse runs the 1st 4 racks, Darren miises in the 5th game. Hennesse takes it out for a 5 game lead right off the bat. Hennesse wins in less than 2 hrs.

Rachel A. matches up with the guy who beat her hill-hill in today tourny. Tells him to lock up 2K, playing 4 500 sets. She wins the 1st set 7-1. NO fear in her!!

LOL! I actually did dance quite a bit in the disco era, but my favorite dancing tunes came from the Motown era, when we used to do the bump, the penquin, the monkey, the alligator, four corners, the jerk, and hand-dancing. Oh, them were the days!

I always wanted to learn how to square dance. Since I am now at the final frontier of my life, I have enrolled in a square dancing class here in my area, and I will drag my other half with me. He just doesn't know it yet.

Oh yea, the picture of Keith with a cowboy hat, boots and a shirt with a different color pocket is just too much.

Sarah Rousey v David Strawn (even nineball / DS wins)

Scooter v Trini from Florida (Trini gets the 8 and wins two races)

Bartrum v Ocullo (ocullo wins)

Bartrum v Bennett

Bennet v Orem
Hey Uwate,

Great report! I KNEW Trini would be there! He lived in St. Thomas for a number of years. We played each other literally everyday for about five years, and we ended up taking a number of trips together. How's he hittin' 'em? Still gettin' out funny and executing some creepy safeties?

Interesting. From what is being reported, it seems like Darren is losing the ahead sessions that he's playing in. It is a format that, generally, is not played that often on this side of the pond. The money matches are played as races.

I have one question about playing ahead sessions v races. How does a player's mind set change when playing an ahead session as opposed to a race?

Thanks!

For those who have never been to the DCC, the hotel has a steakhouse that they close during the tournament and they move all the restaurant tables out and instead they put in nine diamond smart tables (9footers) that cost $5 for 30 min. This is the main action room. The Trini/Scooter match took place there.

I sweated the first set as my buddy had a bet down in the match. Trini came from behind 4-1 to win 9-8 the first set. He made a great out to win the match, shooting a few 8 ft shots with position to get out. On the table next to it Hickerson was playing some $60 one pocket with Jet with about 150 bet on the rail (i was in on this). On the table next to that Monster John was playing some mexican looking dude one pocket and on the table next to that there was an ahead session for 1k with two young guns I had never seen before. Table next to that you had Bartrum vs Bennett playing ahead for a stack and next to that you had another ahead session for 1k. Every table in the room had action. You gotta love the DCC. :-)

According to Appletons backer ( a nice guy ) they are WAYYYYY stuck this trip. I don't think he's booked a winner yet. Lost 3 times to Hennesse and a big set to Shane.

The guy plays good but this is a tough place to win.

Corey played Effren 1 hole race to 10 getting 10-7. Corey took the dough 10-6.

I did not see the end of this match but I was told that Orem won double hill. I was told that Bennett had a good shot to win on the hill but missed, allowing Orem to get to the hill and eventually win.

I read on another site that Shane V. played Tony Chohan $400 a game one hole with 9-7 and a coach. Shane wins $1600. Haven't heard much about Shane playing one hole. Can anyone tell me what his game is like.

Thanks
Scotty G.

I watched Tony playing Shane 1 pocket. He was getting 9-7 plus a coach. Its obvious that Shane doesnt' know the one pocket moves but he executes so well that he did exactly what his coach told him. He won 4 straight games fairly quickly. Tony got some bad rolls and never really got going. After 4 games Tony asked to adjust to 8-7 but Shane's backers said no. So then Tony said he could still have the 9-7 but had to bet 1500 a game. Shane's crew would not stake this. End of match.
