Short Full Splice

I just wanted to share some pictures of a short full splice method we have been working on. This is the first prototype and has a few problems but I know what caused them and they will all go away on the next one.
The points are V grooved and all the parts were cut on the HAAS not on a band saw.

Thanks for looking,
Pete

Jake,

The main thing wrong with it is one of the bridges is a little jack up. I am planning on cutting it out and replacing it and building a cue out of it.

PS: Were building one out of Ivory for the expo.

Take Care,
Pete

That's a really cool one! If I ordered one I'd use a light coloured wood like BEM or Curly Maple to be the point wood. That'll really showcase the technique! But you're already gonna do one with Ivory so that's ballsy enough hehe.

Look forward to seeing the final product of the next cue. This is some pretty special work!
