I'll throw in my Nitti Gambler for consideration. Personally, my favorite. :thumbup:

Quite hilarious that people continue to treat COTY threads like a "post your cue" gallery. I'm sure everyone love their cues and rightly so, but this is for the monsters of 2014. The only effect of throwing in your plain 4 pointer is to make it look trivial compared to the actual contenders.

hate to state the obvious, but...

We're running mighty thin on contestants this year. Is everyone just gonna let this die ?????????????????????????????????

Waiting on Cornerstone to post TW's 2014 cues

He's got it this year IMHO...

Not too likely. I spent most of the year filling outstanding orders - so much so that I only had one cue to take to Cuestock... well, two if you count the one Jim Syversten burned in public.

Richard Black did some cool stuff, however. Here's one I really like:

Now that is some fine rotary inlay work right there.

Here's an amazing Zen Cue.

Unfortunately they cue sold before I could take some nice pictures of it. It's a 16 point cue. Note that the Ivory design has NO Break Lines, it is a Single piece of Ivory and is present top and bottom of the handle. Really remarkable!

The owner is a good friend of mine here in China, I'll get him to send the cue to me soon for some great photos in the meantime these are some photos from Zen's mobile.

Heres another Zen cue I'm nominating. It's soon to be mine, Zen will be delivering to me at the airport this Saturday for me to bring to the Germany and States. I didn't take pictures of full cue yet so hopefully these will suffice... Those meeting me in Vegas will have a chance to hit with this bad boy.

:: Edit 20th Jan ::
Took new pictures so I removed the old ones.

Steve Klein del. 3/14

Here is a cue made by Steve Klein, it is a tribute to the Szamboti on the cover of the third edition Blue Book, with some liberties taken. The quick back story is the other "Classiccues" name, Mark K owns one of the rarest Gus Szambotis' made, a bright red veneer 6 prong delivered in 1988, the year Gus passed. Mark and Gus designed this cue together, and Mark still has the shipping box, all notes, related to the original cue and build.
He could play with the Gus, but for value reasons, he chooses to take it out ONLY when the occasion warrants. So he has Steve Klein tributize the cue but make it to Mark's size specs, as well as add a few inlays, change the wrap color, and install a black butt cap.
The shafts are made from over 100 year old vintage cue's that were cut down and reused for this purpose.

Joe
