Chris Banks?

I'm guessing because he had a way of passive aggressively irratating people. In general he didn't contribute more more than a sentence in each post, without much productive information and when it was over he would say something like "i'm just trying to motivate people to be better players." Which was itself pointless as he had done nothing more than jabber on about nothing.
I hope the warning makes an impact. I had to hold back on just about every thread that he posted in, he was either trying to be annoying or just happens to be someone that naturally annoys the heck out of me. Many times I had to remind myself that the best post I ever had was the one I never hit the "submit" button on.
I found him amusing at first, but the condescending way he would talk to other posters if they didn't agree with his absurd opinions became tiresome. Every thread he posted in got dragged off topic as well.
It must be a temporary ban. I checked his profile and his "last activity" was this evening and he was banned earlier today. So I am guessing it is not permanent and he has only lost the right to post.

Anyways, as someone who does not post a lot here I am happy to see a little more banning going on. There has been some proper, ban-worthy bickering going on for quite some time...

I know he tried several times to derail my thread several times and every time I replied an called him on the carpet. He started a whole new topic totally not related to my thread that turned into a pissing match with CJ in the middle of it all. I tried to reason with hm and asked him not to reply any more but he then went on to ask for some credit cause cj had replyed to one of his post so that made his ego even bigger. all on my thread. Pool school , read it youll get frustrated just listening to him. he also was into it on the thread about good teacher vs good player

I would guess that we are also hoping that he lost the right to procreate.
He does produce as many AZ names as necessary.

Why do people start threads asking why trolls get banned? It is really simple...if you really want to know why he and others like him get banned follow these two steps instead of creating a thread like this.
1. Read all of his posts...ALL of them...if you survive this gruesome test and still are clueless on why move to step 2.

Guess I'm about the only one not angry with Chris. Know him well. Saw him Saturday during the "sleeping under the table" routine. Asked him point blank why he does this crap. He really feels he stimulates discussion on the board. "If every one agreed, there'd be no interesting reading". Tried to explain to him how the vast majority of posters feel about him. He just doesn't care. Oh well.
Incidentally, I can tell you for sure Chris does not play with a Cuetec.
