Carbon Fiber Blanks - 06-18-2019, 09:46 AM

Hello,

With these type of tubes, blanks popping up for sale I was wondering if anyone had any advice on finishing one?

What would you fill the tube with or would you leave it hollow?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

carbon fiber shaft blanks - 07-06-2019, 09:11 PM

As I understand, they are usually filled with foam. What type exactly?

Most have .9 mm thick walls and are foam filled with metal braces. Many have a pingy/ twangy sound.
I do not fill mine, but the walls are 1.5 mm thick, and sound like a standard playing shaft.
