It may be what Russ Espititu charges, if you were to ask him for ivory points, ivory windows, and an ivory butt. I have no direct knowledge, just giving the seller the benefit of the doubt here. I'm guessing he's not too far off with his estimate.

Value of the Ivory

I think if you looked at cue components.com or Chris Hightower's website for cue building materials, a comparable amount of pre-ban elephant ivory (flats, a joint, and a butt plate, and two ferrules) MIGHT cost you $350 to $450.

It's making it look good in the cue using superior craftsmanship that's expensive.
