got locked out

I posted under the name middleofnowhere for like 11 years. The other day I updated my password and that was it I could sign in but not post or see certain features on the site. I tried everything but gave up.
So I guess I am one pocket guy now, unless someone can tell me what went wrong and I can use my old account
