I have this Vollmer cue, and I'm interested in selling it, or trading it for other custom cues. I will listen to all offers, up and down.
Six (3 hi 3 low) ebony points into brown stained BEM, leather wrap, ebony butt with buska style ring. Two shafts, joint protectors. 5/16x14, SS joint, silver ring.
All points are deep knifed.
Butt is 14.9 oz.
1 shaft is 29 1/4'', 4.3 oz and 12.7 mm. This shaft is used, but except some usual blueing, it is in very nice condition.
2 shaft is brand new, only test hit. 12.8 mm, 4.0 oz, 29''.
Ivory ferrules.
This shafts are great. And there is very little deflection on cue ball. Compression fit between insert on a shaft and pilot in the joint.
I also have one new weight bolt with rubber bumper, so weight can be adjusted.
This protectors, bolt and 2 shaft is bought from Mr. Vollmer one month ago.
Cue is straight, an in very good condition. Only flaw is one ding just above butt cap. I try to fix it, and... It is ok, but I used some 2000 paper, so there is no shine on this spot. You can see it in last picture. Except from that, cue is perfect. Beautiful balanced, and a very very serious player.
This cue is 2500 euro- new. I asked Mr. Vollmer when I bought this shaft one month ago. That is around $3400.
My price is $2200 + shipping, obo.
But, as I said, I will listen to trade offers. And, I will send first my cue to any member here on az with high i trader.
