In Cocoa Beach it's self, NO rooms, but, 5 or 6 miles away in Merritt Island there is, Island Breakers, Chalkies. In Cocoa, there is a small room called Shooters, they have a very tough 5x10, 4.5 pocket and a GC V with the same pockets. Tournaments at Shooters on Wed. and Fri.

$12 entry 9 ball tournament at Chalkies in Merritt Island on Friday nights, its handicapped by ball weight. Handicaps range from 4 to 15 and weight anywhere from the last 2 all the way up to the 5 and the last 5. Very fun tourny with a wide range of skill levels.

Saturday night at Chalkies there is a $10 "chip tournament". This is a king of the hill format, you start off with a set number of chips and winner stays on. Normally 4-6 tables running at the same time. You lose you give up a chip and wait to be placed back on a table again.

Wednesday night, $10 entry 9 ball tourny, handicapped by game weight. Race to your number 3 through 6. Also have a 10 ball break pot drawing that is about $120 a ball or so right now but you cant enter in that unless you have played in the tournament within the last 6 weeks. If you are staying a few weeks you can play multiple times and get in the break pot after your initial week.

Florida Pool Tour event in Vero beach this weekend March 21 and 22. $50 entry amateur tourny on Saturday, $200 entry super 16 open event limited to 16 players on Sunday. This is about an hour south of Cocoa beach.

When I lived there, a LONG, LONG time ago, there was a place in Cocoa Beach called Graham's Lounge right on N. Atlantic Ave that had good players frequenting nightly. If still there, it might be a place close to you to at least check out.
