help id this schon - 06-17-2010, 11:54 AM

i need help iding this older schon cue. all heart shaped inlays look to be ivory. has either ivory or a micarta ferrul. has some bumps and bruises. smooth almost seamless leather wrap. very very soft.. schon on the butt cap is hard to see. its faded but can be seen. shaft has a wobble but the tip doesnt leave table. butt rolls true. birdseye forearm, straight, sharp dead even points with four venneers.. rings above and below the wrap. nickel silver. is some finish shrinking on the rings. can feel them popped up. what is the approx age, value for this cue? it will be for sale as soon as i get more info.. thanks azers....

May want to send an email to info@schoncues.com and see what they have to say.

Worth a try. May be able to at least get a model number for it.

Peace...

I've seen this cue somewhere before...years ago. I think it is a custom cue Schon produced for a buyer, not a catalog cue. The ivory hearts are unusual inlays.
