this is the break cue svb is using....so seeing how good he breaks, i tried one......and didn't like it.
the good thing is the joint diameter is larger than a typical cuetec which stiffens up the butt nicely. the butt diameter is also larger and not skinny like most cuetecs. the shaft had a very short phenolic ferrule, which lowered the deflection a bit. tip was layered and a hard tip, but i thought it could have been a lot harder for a break tip. tip diameter was 12.75mm. the really weak point was that the taper was not very stiff at all, it felt whippy when breaking. if it wasn't for that, i think the cue would have been pretty nice. though the logo on the butt was pretty cheesy.
svb breaks pretty well with it, so i guess that shows it's more about the person than the cue!
