Replacig Mezz HP2 ferrule

Hello!
Has anyone changed the ferrule of a hp2 or a mezz shafft?
What are good alternatives for the ferrule material?
How about elforyn or juma?
Was the hit and the deflection the same?
Thank you

Auronlyte from Cue Components,

Or,

Tomahawk from our AZ seller.

Both are good for Low Deflection applicartions.

I had the ferrule changed in my wx900 due to a crack. Replaced with Juma. It played exactly the same.

I'd recommend getting a replacement NX ferrule from Mezz or replacing it with Tomahawk material.

Juma works well, I have used it several times on WX700/900 and HPII.
You can get NX ferrules straight from Mezz, but I actually feel Juma plays better and is more durable than NX. Hydex like Bob Danielsson uses works fine too.

Juma is harder than Elforyn. Way better hit.
