predator weight removal

How can I remove the weight from a Predator if I don't have the silly proprietary tool?

I use a pair on needle nose pliers. Snap ring pliers work too.
I've heard of using a old fork and cutting 2 tines off.

This is what I was told by Predator, worked out great

I made a tool before later buying the weight kit.
2 pieces of 1/2"x1/8" stainless steel flat bar, welded to make a T.
I ground out 2 pins from the end of the T leg to fit the holes in the weights.
Job done, and sits nice & flat in your cases jump cue pocket.
