1970's Block Letter Joss - Ebony & BEM 4 pointer with Veneers, Gunsights & Dot inlays
An awesome and confirmed build by Danny Janes; estimated by Bill Stroud to be from back around 1974-1975.
The cue has been refinished and very lightly played since but, it's in exceptional condition
Ebony points with four (4) veneers (light green, natural, light green and purple) and Gunsights (Ivory Dots with Green veneers). Buttsleeve has four (4) boxed windows with green veneers plus, a purple veneer highlight; each box has one (1) large Ivory dot with two (2) small Ivory dots ~ very NICE!!!
Butt weighs 15.7 oz, 28 3/4"
Solid Ivory 3/8-10 joint with Maple & Ebony box ringwork
Shaft #1 weighs 3.6 oz, 29", 12.4mm Micarta?, Precision (M)
Shaft #2 weighs 3.5 oz, 28 3/4", 12.7mm Ivory, Precision (M)
NEW white with green spec Irish linen
White Delrin butt cap with Block Letter JOSS logo
The cue rolls straight together or apart with either shaft.
