The numbers are always the same - the most on top and the least on bottom with the winner moving to the right. You look at the score and then look to the right to see who won.

If you look at the bracket scores. The 11 is always on top and whatever the loser got to is always on the bottom. The numbers do not always line up with the name of the player who actually won. If you want to know who won then look to the right and that players name was the winner. 11 to whatever. This discussion came up a couple of months ago. Hope this helps.
