and LOTS of cash to me

Time to get a 3rd job! What is that?

I'll talk about the cue (shout, point at, and just generally pimp) when I get it back from the son of the guy that made it. You did mention his name in the trade cues you would consider.

OK, here's part 1 of the kvinbrwr saga entitled "Why I Love Atthecat's Table". This is the University of Michigan Union:

Thanks

Dale Perry has a son?

Best,
Brian kc :duck:

Let me say, in all seriousness, that if that picture really represents a U of Michigan facility with all of those beautiful tables, and it sure looks like it does, then my hat is off to the Wolverine Nation.

You're a UM alum, Kevin?

Best,
Brian kc

I'm REALLY and alum of that room, but yeah, I walked in there and was just completely home. Even after I graduated, it took a couple of years (and the lure of SoCal) to pull me out of there. Dennis Dieckman the cue builder was also a fixture in that room as was Steve Titus, who later went on to be the scientific half of the founding partnership in Predator.

GO BLUE! (not an alum either, but married into it)

Nice picture w/lots of memories, Kevin. The Rack had these tables, too.

Monte, good luck w/your sale. I was lucky enough to play on this table and it is the nutz. Nothing Monte says about it is exaggerated.

Wow, how did I miss this post? That was your student union Kevin? Oof, that's Mecca right there. How many classes did you skip!

That's right. My 2 favorite rooms of all time had Anniversaries. And then my second fav table, a GC1, wasn't that what they had in the Oak Park Cushion and Cue?

Monte, of course, has them both.

I need a Centennial for the perfect storm.

Not sure if this link will work for those that don't have Facebook profiles, but here is a link to the so-called "refurbishing" of that awesome Union Pool Room:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Univ...a/set/?set=a.467886798781.252006.186076933781

New bed cloth and some slate work, but nothing was done to the wood... on any of them that I can tell. Still, I can't imagine walking into a pool room loaded down with these since I've had the priviledge to purchase one that I'm in the process of restoring now.

wow

I better get the tv business back in swing ......jk .I sure wish I had the extra cash though .Great table ,I played on one down in florida and it was truely a treat . Good luck with the sale. Priced to go fast

That's about 1/4 of the room. We do our 1P league there every other Sunday. Fall session starts this Sunday. Everybody's welcome, and the price is way cheap...

Sorry - OP, couldn't resist. GLWS
