This is a 1985 Bill Schick Cue. Six Points, 3 high and 3 low. The cue is straight and in excellent original condition. It has 2 shafts that are original, one has a hairline crack up by the collar. Bill remembered the cue and still had ringwork left from the cue. So with that ringwork I had Rick Phillippi build another shaft. Bill told me that he had made this cue for an animal activist who did not want to use any Ivory, I forget what the material that he used was called, but he said that you had to have a Jewelers Loupe to tell the difference between it and Ivory. Because of the rarity of the material, he felt that it made the cue more valuable than if it were Ivory. The butt weighs 15.9 ounces and has an adjustable weight bolt. The shafts are all around 13mm, the good original shaft is 3.9 ounces. The new shaft is 4 ounces. The shaft with the hairline crack is 3.7 ounces and hits as solid as any of the shafts.
Bill's only made 2 Non Ivory cues, so that makes this one a pretty rare cue.
$3500 OBO
