Well it seems that i have received my 1st bad rep points...:rolleyes: . Yeah.....:D ...It seems that... dukeboy1977.. did not like my giving him bad rep points for his post about Bob Owen and Shurtz Cues. Next he will probably be banning me from the site he moderates on.....Well dukeboy1977, you have made my day. I have been wondering how long it would be before someone gave them to me....YEAH....:rolleyes: .....lol.........:D .........mike
 
Mike, how's the snow up your way? I heard on the news some parts of upstate New York got 110 inches! :eek:

BTW, I also heard it through the grapevine that there's a new hangout up Albany way, a personally owned club room of sorts with a nice 9-foot Brunswick; a private room, if you will.

With all the snow, the new hot spot must be packed each and every night, and knowing the owner, I'll bet it's a nice little action spot! :D

Hi Jam.....well so far this year we have only had about 3 or 4 inches. The western part of the state got hammered last week. one town got roughly 12' (120") as the weatherman put it. but we are suppose to get our 1st significant storm on Wednesday... Sure do wish you and Keith would come to Turning Stone.

Yes i know about the special room you are talking about. Have not been there. Doubt i ever will be. Have been invited. Just no interest i guess. Rocky is the person who did the table set up........mike

To put this in perspective, when I read that DUKE was a moderator on that "other site", I made a note to NEVER visit that site!! Like a blind person offering driving lessons.

He reminds of a non-stop crying baby on a coast-to-coast flight ---annoying as hell, yet you can't do anything about it. Moments of peace, then suddenly WAAAAA! starts all over again:D

Don't sweat it...it's a badge of honor and you earned it well. If I recall, in the past the dukester has hit me with a negative rep in the past for pointing out the obvious to him. Some days that poor boy just has no filter between his ears. I'm hoping that he'll learn some patience.

My latest negative rep was given for a quote of someone else's reply on a thread that the moderator here eventually deleted...and my statement, mind you, was nothing but positive about the original poster's thread. Considering who that one came from, though, I consider it A REAL BADGE OF HONOR !!

Mike, you still have "a reputation beyond repute", and rightfully so. I think everyone who knows you, knows that you're one of the good guys.:)
 
this is so funny

i can't believe this one. I just went and visited the site that dukeboy1977 is the moderator of because i had posted a cue for sale over there just after xmas and guess what. I am still a member. but the half dozen posts that i made and the replies i got in the wanted/ forsale section have been deleted......oh well. I sent a note to george asking for an explanation... hopefully i will get one......................mike

Apparently it is a very big deal....a thread is being deleted over in the NPR
because it gave some free rep to folks.....and people got upset over it
