Your bridge to the cue seems a little long and your pre-shot strokes are too fast and erratic or herky jerky. Also you need to take your time and stay down on your follow through..
Cure: Get a little closer to the cue ball, slow down and take slower and more rhythm strokes. Focus on the exact spot of the cueball you want to strike while you are doing all of this and before you pull the trigger PAUSE on that spot... After the pause deliver a smooth level stroke on the cueball and stay DOWN!! Do this on every shot no matter how easy it is. Watch how the pros do it on any streams available on here..
Oh and one other thing... Try to SEE the paths and patterns before getting down and firing away. DO NOT I repeat!! DO NOT disturb or move balls if at all possible. Moving or position balls to help your pattern is a different story.
Some nice shooting. Cut on the 3 ball was very well done. Noticed that you dropped your shoulder when shooting the 5 ball. You may want to slow down and think what position play on some shots.
Nice Rec Room too.
I noticed you missed a couple of balls and that you weren't using Kamui chalk.
Whats wrong with you.
PS - I'm not that great a player that can critique or notice too many off points in anothers game but JJ gave you some good advice.
I could teach a novice some of the basic things.
Thanks! Yeah, I was shooting quickly because I had only 2 or 3 min on my camera to shoot HA. I was trying to fit a fast rack in The other 2 vids are uploading now.
Welcome to Az. Not too shabby. I think you have too long a bridge. Might try shortening that up. Just move bridge hand closer to cue ball. On the five ball you really popped your wrist away from your body. Anyone humble enough to ask for others opinions will do fine in this game. Always play the cue to bounce off the rail unless playing defense and then try parking it on the rail. Remember that practicing is doing drills not playing games. Your on your way!
Your bridge is too long. It forces you to drop your elbow on many shots, where it is completely unnecessary. You have an inconsistent setup and delivery process. Work on doing things the same way each time. Next time set up the camera and shoot shots where we can see your whole body, including your shooting arm. Difficult to see much here, except for a couple of shots.
Yup, 8 footer....Thanks for all the feedback! I just got my own table a few months ago. My game has drastically improved since. I will try the suggestions given. Thanks!
