sorry for the sheldon job, but...:

2010 RYNO ROOM BILLIARDS 8-BALL CHALLENGE
(OPEN TO ANY APA MEMBER CURRENTELY ON A ROSTER)
The first annual and exciting championship series consists of 5 qualifying tournaments and a final tournament. Only with the APA more tournaments, more money, more fun, and $2,000 in added money.
Tournament #1. Oktoberfest --- Oct. 2nd $250 added
Tournament #2. Gobbler Open --- Nov. 6th $250 added
Tournament #3. Santa Slayer --- Dec. 4th $250 added
Tournament #4. New Year Rehab --- Jan. 8th $250 added
Tournament #5. Last Chance --- Feb. 5th $250 added
Tournament #6. March Madness Finals --- Mar. 5th $250 added (Final event and party)

Each qualifying tournament will be limited to 64 players. Must be currently active on an APA 8 or 9 ball team at the time of tournament. Each tourney will be bracketed by skill level. For those new to our tourneys, bracketing by skill level means that players are grouped on the tournament chart according to your APA skill level. Basically, you will play similar skill level players throughout most of the tournament.
The tournaments will be double elimination.
No super 7s (APA lifetime winning percentage above 75%) If you are a skill level 7 and are unsure of your win percentage, contact me for your eligibility prior to arriving for the tournament. Players new to the APA (less than 10 matches) will have to compete at a minimum of one skill level higher than their current skill level.
COST: $20 per event.
There will be a CALCUTTA (Player Auction)
Each participant will receive points based on their finishing order. The point totals are listed below. (Points may be adjusted if less than 40 players)
1st 100pts 2nd 90pts 3rd 80pts 4th 70pts
5/6th 65pts 7/8th 60pts 9/12 55pts 13/16 50pts
17/24 45pts 25/32 40pts 33/48 35pts 49/64 30pts

Bonus Points: If you participate in multiple qualifiers, you will receive additional bonus points:
Play in 4 to 5 of the 5 qualifying tournaments: 120 total bonus points
Play in 3 of the 5 qualifying tournaments: 70 total bonus points
Play in 2 of the 5 qualifying tournaments: 40 total bonus points
Play in 1 of the 5 qualifying tournaments: 15 total bonus points

The top 64 players based on total points accumulated from the first five events will be invited to participate in the final tournament. The top 12 players in the standings after 5 events will play in the finals for FREE. For every paid entry $2.00 will be held for the finals in March.

As tournament director, I reserve the right to refuse entry to any player who I feel is not appropriately handicapped or for any other reason.
