Hoping Lee Vann has a good showing in the Bigfoot this year.
Since all of the players you mention would be better choices than some of the ones who were chosen, I'm wondering if this means that some of them are having visa problems. I'm thinking particularly of the three Taiwanese.
Based on this list, one must presume that many of the elite Europe-based players are skipping the Derby. The Derby ends on January 28 and the World Pool Championship begins on February 1 in Poland. The tight schedule has caused a few with whom I've touched base to skip Derby City in favor of the World Pool Championship.
The Bigfoot field is still tough, including past DCC Bigfoot winners Gomez, Filler, Shaw, SVB, and Pagulayan and also former DCC Bigfoot finalists Gorst and Corteza. Gorst, of course, won the Bigfoot at the 2022 International.
Thanks for the link. I'm looking forward to watching some top class players close-up. Nice that it's only 16 invited players. Every game should be pretty competitive. The Bigfoot bracket is up on DigitalPool now: https://digitalpool.com/tournaments/23-dcc-bigfoot-10-ball-challenge/bracket
I just went to the link, looking everything over. I noticed next to Fedor’s name there was an American flag. Was he granted citizenship to become an American? The Bigfoot bracket is up on DigitalPool now: https://digitalpool.com/tournaments/23-dcc-bigfoot-10-ball-challenge/bracket
If SVB gets by Eberle in Round 1, he'll face either Woodward or Shaw in Round 2. Filler plays Atencio in Round 1; that could be interesting.
That is how Matchroom rolls. Now wait for the excuse makers to come out....Someone explain why the World Championship is scheduled one day after the Derby? Did someone's brain fall out?
98% will be out before the last day or sooner.Someone explain why the World Championship is scheduled one day after the Derby? Did someone's brain fall out?
Never.Anyone know if there are Derby brackets online for the banks and 9-ball?
There are rebuys every round so there cannot be a bracket. Hope that helpsAnyone know if there are Derby brackets online for the banks and 9-ball?
No such thing as a bracket. Re-draw after every round. You can see results on the DCC website. However, if it's like usual, it will get to a point where its not updated very timely.Anyone know if there are Derby brackets online for the banks and 9-ball?
