3-Cushion Qualifier is full
At the Derby City Classic
Jeanette Lee "the Black Widow" will compete in the 3-cushion Qualifier at the Derby City Classic. Jeanette is looking forward to the challenge, and she is practicing daily on her Gabriel table
Both tables are already sold
Two Gabriels 3-Cushion Billiard tables will be used for the (2) USBA Regional Qualifiers. Play will be in the Executive Inn Hotel, which is one of two hotels hosting the DCC, in Louisville, Kentucky. Paul Frankel (Professor-Q-Ball) and Bob Jewett will be the tournament directors.
Each of the two qualifiers will be 2 flights of a 6 man Flight round-robin.
The first qualifier of the12 players will start on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 6-7-8, and the second qualifier of the12 players will be January 9-10-11. Matches will be to 25 points. Top 2 players from each flight go to a 4 man single elimination.
Winners of the two Qualifiers will each receive free entry into 2006 USBA 3- Cushion National Championship to be held at New Wave Billiards, in Miami Florida, February 2006 (worth $300 plus $200 expenses).
Payouts
1st place $500 Cash + $500 entry into National Championship
2nd place $400
3-4th place $300 each
