Just curious if anyone has a shaft like this and how you feel about it. I am trying to get a bigger tipped z-2 replacement and want to try something new. I have done a search and can't find an exact answer...

BTW, I have been poking around here for about the past year and just decided to see if I can contribute anything..

Thanks, Greg

I've got a custom shaft, with a 12.2 mm tip and the same taper as the Z-shaft. I think it's the best taper for my game. I love it.

When you say your type of game what do you mean..?

I have been told I have a locked and loaded jackhammer stroke. I really enjoy playing with the Z but would like to have just a bit more forgiveness on the contact.

hard for me to describe my own game. I just know that having from from pro tapers when I first started playing, I prefer a more conical taper. I have some YouTube videos. Just search for stevenpwaldon. Ignore the 14.1 videos, though. They're horrible!

I had an OB-1 tapered down close to the Z2. Might be the kind your looking for.... Plays a little softer and a little more forgiving.

Deadon

OB-1 softer with a conical taper? What did you happen to take it down to.
