Bought it new in the late 80's. I don't recall the model number but it's been referred to as the 'Tomahawk' cue. I'll get some pics up a little later. It's has 2 shafts , both roll straight and it is in quite good condition (IMO) regardless of its age. It was a player for while so it's it has a couple of pretty light dents over the wrap (cleared over linen). All in all it's looks pretty new-ish. (Is that word? )

Here's a brief description from the net . . .

I'll try and get some good pics up asap. Mostly looking for a nice trade but cash is always considered.

Thanks for looking. :)

Jay.

K . . . Pics.

IIRC ~19oz w/ 2 matching shafts , I don't recall if the tips are Ivory I thought so but can't guarantee.

GB-7 Balabuska with 2 shafts willing to trade ?

I might be willing to trade a GB-7 with 2 extra matching shafts to trade.
Cue is in Great condition and Kevin Varney put on a New Black wrap with white speckles alittle over a month ago and I ave hardly used the cue due to having so many. I aso have a Bob Frey sneaky pete with a extra shaft I would consider too.

Thanks,
Steve Luskey

Meucci Originals 88-5B

Your Q is a Meucci Originals model 88-5B. Here is a link for more pics:

Called the Tomahawk or Arrow Q. The arrow and tomahawk heads are real ivory. Meucci never made very many Qs using ivory. They are quite rare and seldom come up for sale.

Just for info, there was another Q not shown in the 88 series link I posted. It was the 88-4 Music Q, which was discontinued. The butt sleeve is just like the other 2 model 4s called Piano Qs, but the forearm displays an ivory guitar and a trumpet instead of the piano key board.

By the way. I'm looking for an 88-7 Quasar if anyone has one for sale.

How much are looking to get for the cue?

I think I'd rather trade for another player or I'll have to buy another so I'd probably want maybe $6-$700-ish ballpark.
