I just got a new cue just a couple months ago. And it always happens... I managed to ding the butt against a table and it caused a nic into the clearcoat of the butt.

Is there anything I ca do to fill in the little nic? Without getting the whole butt repainted?

Provided the finish on the cue will buff after being sanded you can put a drop of finish in the spot and alow it to dry. Then sand down and rebuff that section of the cue. Some of the UV finishes won't buff so it may have to be refinished.
