A section for a state by state up to date listing of pool rooms

I've asked several times before, for some reason it never got put in. There are some apps and web site that do this, but they are outdated by 5+ years and I have never seen them get fixed when I send in closed room listings. www.goplaypool.com is the latest one that does a listing, but when I checked they were pretty empty or had wrong info.
I for one would love to see a sub category called "STATES" and under that title ... all the states in a further sub category. That would really be neat! Not just for pool rooms, but for general talk, games, woofing and such.
In fact, didn't this forum start out as AriZona billiards and grow to billiards A to Z? We're ready for more states!

Back in the mid to late 90s I put together a really complete list of poolrooms and started getting descriptions and types of action there but it was so hard to keep up with closures and number changes. I know that now it is way easier but boy was it hard to get the info back then. I called it the Road Players Guide and included an atlas and work binder so players could add all the information they needed. It worked pretty darn good for a couple years before the information got dilluted with closures and such. I helped Richie Richeson go through some of his old boxes and back into storage last fall and we found the one I gave him. It was all beat up with notes all through it. Too bad I couldn't keep it updated.
I guess the point is that a new complete, up to date listing would be pretty darn valuable to a lot of people here. It is way easier seeing a list in one location than surfing around hoping you don't end up missing the best spot, or only spot, in a new area.

Updated listing of pool rooms
We at GoPlayPool.com are working hard to provide our users with an updated list of rooms. However, it's estimated that over 6,000 pool halls and bars in the U.S. will close during 2013. Which means that this happens on a yearly basis. While we are working hard to provide an updated and accurate list, it's impossible to completely keep up with it. We ask that users help us and provide us information about newly opened rooms, or rooms that have closed. We are constantly doing research ourselves in an attempt to keep our information up-to-date, but we're human.
