adding lead screw to delux lathe

hi can someone advise me on which is best.i want to upgrade my cue smith deluxe to a a lead screw.is a stepper direct drive better then, a geared or just a dc motor.thanks

Your best bet would be to give Chris a call. If I am not mistaken, he can help you with that instead of out right buying the Deluxe with the Lead Screw.

It may cost you a bit for the necessary changes, but doesn't everything cost these days.

the lead screw with the power feed is the answer.............. You will probably need to change the carriage too............ could be expensive but you won't be sorry
