All AZ members can buy a #GL2100 shipped extended til 12:00 9/1.

I was asked last week if those who had not seen the email drawing for the free case could still get a #GL2100 Vintage 2X4 case for $285 shipped which I offered to all email participants. I agreed that it shouldn't matter if you were involved with the drawing or not since the price was an after thought. If you want an alteration of the #2100 2X4 such as a 3X5 or 3X6 the regular price difference would be added. If you need more info on this, just reply and I'll try to help.

Thanks,
Jim http://www.jimmurnakcuecases.com

All I can say is that I hope you're kidding. If you're not, then don't read it. You've been a member long enough to have been around when this started.... he asked this forum things they liked & disliked about cases. He took that info & made the above mentioed case...he then GAVE two of them away to members of this forum in APPRECIATION of their input. Now, for the people that weren't lucky enough to win a free case, he has been kind enough to offer the case at a discount price.

Jim, thanks yet again for yet another generous offer. :)

If you don't want to read it then how about just not clicking on the thread? It really isn't that hard not to click on something that you don't want to read. I do it all the time when FL is mentioned in the topic.

JimM is not a BAD Guy, he is a Businessman, and made a Business Decision to Give away Two Case worth Approx. $800.00 retail. Plus offer a Discount to anyone else who want a case Throughout August 31, 2004

Also Jim has also offer to Sweat his Discounted Price on both the GL 2100 & 2101, Plus if you want a 3 x 5, 0r 3 x 6 you pay an upcharge and get pretty much what you want.

Two Lucky Dogs won a Case EACH, and everyone else got the chance to buy one IF THEY CHOSE TOO. For a Discounted Price.

Think now one got hurt with Jim’s posts. Think the ONE Question many have including me is, How Thick & Wide are those Shoulder Straps, and How are those Shoulder Straps Configured, and How Does the Back of the CASE Look.
;)

Perhaps ...

I would like to know how much a Vintage 2 x 4 weighs.

Too bad you don't take monthly payments... lol

Well

Well the World waits for Reported Dry Weights... :D

Two cases should be delivered on Tuesday. One is a #GL2102 which is a new Vintage case with a larger pocket so it can accomodate a cue extender. It is a 3X6 in dark red with shading to black on the top and bottom and the other case is a #GL2100 in black cherry. Hopefully these two people will have the time to do a review.

As far as the weight of these cases, I don't have an accurate way to measure. Until I do, I will have to rely on others to measure the weight. I will do it as soon as I can.

Thanks,
Jim

you could take it to the post office and ask them to weigh it so you can get a idea of shipping costs

My case is the GL 2102 which will be delivered today, I CAN"T WAIT.. I will check it out tonight after work, weigh it and get some pics up soon. Thanks for working with me on the special pocket config.
As for the fellow posting that Jim is spamming the board, Mr. T is way off base. Maybe I am crazy but isn't this the "Wanted/For Sale" section?? Jim has been very professional in his posts and if Mr. T does not like that, he may want to stop reading posts in this section.
Jim, best of luck in your cue case endeavor. I can see your name growing quickly if the case is as sweet as I am expecting.

Peace.. Joe Koontz

Jim,

Aren't you a holster maker as well? I went to your site again and you are using holster grade leather. I have a Kramer horsehide that is pretty stout. What is the quote for a 3x6 and do you offer any other fonts for the initials? Last, what forms of payment?

I would need to make sure I could afford it- I have life insurance due as well as my home insurance.

Thanks,

Peter

Our Post Office is OPEN 24 x 7 x 366. It has a Self Service Scale in 1/100th of a Pound....

Well hopefully some body will Weight Their 2 x4, or 4 x 6 Cases DRY/Empty so other who are interested will have some idea as to the Weight of these CASES.

Also hopefully some one who get a CASE with a FADE DYE JOB will be able to post a Photo as Personally I have difficulty comprehending what a Fade to Black Fade Dye Job could look like....

Jim quoted how much more for a 3 x 5 or 3 x 6 on top of the $285 offer,
good until the end of August somewhere, and yes he has several fonts
available (6-7 different ones, I personally like the script font because
it is easy to see and read). Go to his website, www.jimmurnakcues.com
look at item #2100 (Vintage case), and on the page, it has a link to
the different type of fonts offered for the cases, as well as showing
colors of leather available for cases.

Payment, I don't know exactly, but would be interested in knowing
all terms that are acceptable by him, and I want to know the weight
of a 2 x 4 and 3 x 6 case.

You guys that have one already, most billiard rooms that sell cues
have a scale that you can weigh your case on. I weighed my cue,
and my jump cue on one here locally.

Yes I am a holster maker also. I don't use horsehide. I don't know what you mean by stout but I only use cowhide.

I traced the one 3X6 and it was scheduled for delivery today, Aug. 9th.

Also, I can take payments if you are having financial difficulties. When you finish paying off the case, I will make it for you.

Thanks,
Jim
