yeah KB billiards does suck, horrible tables, and even worse people in that joint.

i just want a place that's open 24 with decent 9 footers..but will settle for 7-8's....

this might be a decent buisness opportunity

I have never played in a league, I need/want to though. I'm having a tough time find better players. I think it's holding me back. I beat just about everyone I play (8 ball) but I think it's because they suck, not because I'm that good.

I have been told that I'm probably a APA 6-7 (8 ball)... but I honestly have no idea what my speed is LOL

I'm on Kent Island... Parkville would be a bit of a hike for me. I'll probably stick to Anne Arundle co.. Sorry.

Merritt Point Billiards in Dundalk on Merritt Blvd is open 24 hrs. All the tables are Diamond 7 and 9 ft tables.

Where do you play in Parkville and what level player are you looking for? I have never played in an APA league but did a Bud league for a few years.

At Cheers in Parkville in Pering Plaza, aka old Champions, on 9 ft tables. Right across the street from Top Hat. New session starts next week. Matches start at 7 pm but you can show up early to practice. Plenty of practice tables also with free table time.

KB billiards is under new ownership. They have recovered all of the tables and cleaned the place up a lot. It has improved greatly, but still isn't great.
I don't know if it is open 24 hours or not.

Unfortunately I don't know of any 24 hr rooms left... everything closed up. Pool is dead in Maryland now... GE Bob and I were just discussing this the other night... what we wouldn't give to have it back like it was 10 years ago.

where is the best poolroom? where do most of the players play?

to answer this question is a matter of opinion buddy. but if your looking for action on the best, most consistant tables with aramath balls, 9 footers, would have to be Top Hat in Parkville most likely. The new Green Room off of North Point Road in Essex/Dundalk has all barboxes, but has the most players, league teams. This is where all of the maryland Tournament's are held for the most part, APA tourney's that is...
