Anybody try to match FL's 15 ball run?

I guess FL's latest claim to fame is his 15 ball run without letting the cueball touch a rail. Has anybody tried this? As Onepocketchump can tell you, I'm a crappy player, but despite that, on my 4th try I ran 12 and about 45 minutes later I ran all 15. As with all of Fast Larry's shots, they are based primarily on luck. This is not a test of skill but a test of whether a ball ended up close to a rail after your break shot. If a ball ends up frozen you are done and you might as well re-rack. The difficulty level of Fast Larry's 15 ball run is about a 35-40 ball run in straight pool. Not that tough. This man is an idiot. Too many frauds in the game. If pool if going to regain some credibility, it needs to expose these idiots. There are "master instructors" out there that can't run 30 balls in 14.1. Fast Larry, feel free to post a 50 ball run on your site; it would certainly change my opinion of your skill level.

Tell Larry that when he can run 100 balls or more using only the side pockets and the lower corner pockets to start bragging. i saw Joe Canton do do it.
I saw Joe Canton run 101 balls only using those 4 pockets and what a feat it was to see..........................................mike
 
I see that rccollins, the official FL bashing thread starter and flamer, is back to the same old tricks. Must be a bitch to go through life hating someone so badly that you have it consuming your every waking moment to the point where you can't create a positive thread.

I've said it before, FL is NOT here and he's NOT coming back. Take it to RSB (which I'm sure you have under another alias just like this one)

BTW...put YOUR 15 ball run on tape so that we can see it and verify everything. Maybe you also broke Mosconi's record of 526 balls. Hell, anybody can SAY that they did ANYTHING.

I once ran 43 consecutive racks of 9-ball. (not on tape)

Correction, I think SJM mentioned this, Fast Larry doesn't run 15 balls without touching a rail he only runs 14. On the first ball he pockets the cue ball hits the rack and then two rails. :p ;)
 
My high run in 9ball is 18 racks. Accomplished in 1988. Three witnesses. Sorry they're all dead.

I can't speak on behalf of FL, but having read many of his articles and seen quite a few of his videos he's at least a very good player.

Larry's clearly a bit of a nut, but I'd like to see the good side of the nut in him. He's so passionate about the sport I'm constantly amazed. I'm often delighted by some of the things he writes and sometimes dismayed when flames turn nasty.

He's had some bad things to say about AZ's Mike, and none of these I understand to any detail. To me, Mike's done a heroic job with AZB and FL is one of the great knowers of the game who has spread a lot of knowledge, albeit in his own flamboyant (let's be friendly here) way.

I'd like to think those who share a passion for this sport are of like kin, but some get on each other's nerves. So be it, the world is at it is. And I think it all will turn out fine for the warring parties in the long term :)

Definitely not politically correct (this joke gets criticized EVERY time its posted on this forum), but geeze it is just a joke, and is a little funny. I first heard it at the Steve Alford Special Olympics golf outing held every year here in Indiana, from one of the "challenged persons". Not all challenged persons are without a sense of humor.

As soon as we quit telling jokes about challenged people perhaps we should stop telling jokes about Italians, Polish people, blondes, lawyers, Ethiopians, postal workers, politicians, and well... we need to stop telling jokes. WE MUST BE SERIOUS AND SENSITIVE AT ALL TIMES. I hope this didn't offend you in some way.

Thank you. People tear me apart on this board for bashing a guy that still has not sent me what I payed for years ago and people can make fun of handicapped people and it's accepted.

Now, isn't this the truth!! Unfortunately it seems like too many individuals with their panties wadded up into their ass crack are now the ones dictating what can or can't be done and love creating some over blown issue that gets press time or a lawsuit.

BTW Willie....Did you hear the one about this blonde Polak chick that worked for the post office and went into a bar.............
