Anybody use a Revo without a glove?

So many people are shooting with a glove now it seems. Almost as if it has become a fad. I personally don't care for shooting with a glove but was wondering, because of the Revo being a composite shaft, is a glove pretty much required to shoot with it?

Revo is great without a glove, even after hours of play. I can’t say that about any other shaft. I also have a painted carbon shaft that needs a glove.

I like the Revo specifically because I don't need a glove. If your hands sweat, a little powder once in a while works fine too.

I play with a low deflection carbon fiber glove....that way I can use a conventional maple shaft

I don’t use a glove with my revo or maple shafts, just keep them and my hands clean.

Definitely don’t NEED a glove. To care for a Revo you need to use a soft cloth treated with isopropyl alcohol (90%). It can get sticky if it or your hands are really cruddy. But a little care should make you feel like you don’t need a glove. The smoothness of the shaft (when clean) is ridiculously nice as if you’re wearing a glove.

I have never worn a glove. One of the top selling points of the Revo, NO GLOVE NEEDED!

As for the comments about powder, Predator states NO POWDER!!!! NO TALC!!! Etc.

But the "keep your shaft clean" and "It's a fad" comments are just wrong.
Some sweaty people can't shoot glove-less with a brand new shaft.

My hands are usually dry... I play with a guy whose hands look like they were dipped in a sink full of water. Never saw anything like it. Definitely function not fad.

Feel bad for them. But at least they have the glove option.
