Anyone ever seen a cue like this?

A friend of mine brought this cue into my shop and asked about putting a tip on. Its supposed to be really old from what the guy who owns it said. Ive never seen one before. Its a one piece cue.

Uh, no. I clip them, unless i rip them off with lathe chucks or other machines. But thanks for the concern, i think. Lol.

These cues come round frequently on Ebay. The St Croix company made fishing and marine equipment and dabbled in a few other items, pool cues were made for few years the discontinued.

St Croix is still alive and well.

St.Croix is a very respectable top notch fishing outfit. Its basically the only rod i use other than customs. I had no idea they made pool cues though. Thanks for that insight

I build a lot of rods using St. Croix blanks, they are top of the line. I didn't know they made any cues, now I'll have to find one to buy.
