I hear ya on that. BTW, what do you call a guy with no arms/legs in your pool?? Bob. On your front porch?? Matt.I like to know about all of the colorful characters in pool and to post here about them allows some to learn a little if they've never heard of them or add some info if they may have run into them.
Look what happened in the thread so far; we learned more about Tori, Chewy, and even ID'd Spitball Charlie Darling.
I was gonna post another "Which tip is better?" thread but changed my mind at the last minute.

Charlie is a real nice guy that can also play a lights out game. First saw him in Columbia,Mo in early 80's.
Saw him last year at a benefit at Kenny's in Barnhart ,Mo. Always forget to ask, how do you figure out you can do this.
Chewy was a good player, the best in Montana for many years. He just seemed to fall off the map about 15-20 years ago. Just wonder if he is still alive. I liked Mike and was always glad to see him at a tournament. He came to a couple of my first U.S. Bar Table Championships in Reno. Probably the last time I saw him.

Russ, that's awful.
What's her phone number?
I think he was from ND.
I played him once in a tournament in Missoula and massacred him (normally I couldn't have beat him but I fell into the zone this one event). Mike Page asked about him a few years back and said he was driving a school bus nowadays.

Well, OK, but he doesn't seem to have as much lung power as the other guys. No five-rail shots for example. More of a dribbler than a line driver.Mouthy pool players are not a new thing...here’s one that Frank Taberski did an exhibition with.
