Hi, I am going to vegas for this tournament and I am wondering if it is worth hauling down a few extra cues for selling or tradeing?

Anybody know if this is a good venue for that type of thing?

thanks, Nate.

not likely, i was there for the singles tounamnent and there wasnt a whole lot of vendors. there was one guy there that had some nice stuff but i didnt see anything missing from his inventory on the last day. there will be more people and vendors there for the team tounament but i dont think its great place to try to sell, especially if you dont have a booth.

There will be a lot more vendors at the nationals then there were for the singles. Joe Salazar of course will be there. He is always looking to trade. You must keep in mind that the vendors pay a lot to have a booth. So, when the do trade iit is imperative that they get the best end of any deal. I just heard today that the vendors will not be allowed to carry there own stuff in. They will have to pay hotel employees to it take in and out like at the trade show. Bummer:(

This doesn't make any sense, the fact that a dealer like Joe Salazar can't carry his own cues in to the booth that he's paying for. I guess I don't know the whole story or reason for this, but it's a strange sounding situation.

UNIONS ! as far as selling and trading the several times i have gone I have seen many folks taking advantage of the vendors items there so I would think you might do well!
