Constructive criticism? That's perfect! It's one of those designs where the CNCd corners in the ring inlays are appropriate due to the ovals and the waves of the Kris.
Outstanding!

Thank you very much for the compliment Edwin, I appreciate it very much. I want to thank you for your suggestions in regards to the initial choice of wood colours, they worked perfect together and the customer was very pleased. :D
Just so there is no confusion about the ring work all the work on this cue was done with manual pantograph I am not fortunate enough to own a cnc.

Thanks Jon ,I was a little nervous about posting and the positive comments are making me feel much more me at ease.

Very nice work!

The Chinese caligraphy looks great too. How did you do those? Why "gold" and "water"?

And lastly, what kind of joint pin is that, and why did you choose that configeration?

Thanks,
Roger

I agree, very nice design and color scheme. Is this cue promised to someone or is it available to purchase. Nice photo's too, reminicent of the photo's Bryan Mordt (BCM cues) provides with his online cue sales. Superb in all aspects. Keep up the good work.

I did the characters with a very small endmill and the pantograph. As to why I used those words, the customer had very specific design elements he wanted incorperated into the cue so those were his choice. For your last question the pin is a 5/16" anodized aluminum pin, and my reasoning was to reduce weight and secondly I thought that it suited the look of the cue.
Thank you everybody for all the kind words it is very encouraging.
