Hey AZ. Just got back from Afghanistan an the wife and I are in Atlanta.

Anyone got a nice pool room we can come to? We don't have our cues or anything. Just an opportunity to meet and shoot a little.

If anyone wants to give lessons to us, were open to that too. But not just anyone, have some credentials please. ;)

Man it is great to be back.

Hopefully things will start winding down over there and you won't have to go back.

Also, if you get the chance, maybe you can go by the Pentagon and talk to someone about getting our men and women over there some good tables to play on. If you can find out who that guy is that paid $2,000 for a hammer, it shouldn't be hard getting Diamond and Brunswick interested in submitting bids.

I am in ATL for certification training until the 20th, and would love to get together sometime. My test is on Tuesday the 14th, so I have to keep my head down and study until Tuesday night, but after that I will probably be visiting Marietta Billiard Club nightly. I think they have a tournament on Sat. night, and I will probably play in that as well. I believe Richard Andrews, a great player from Huntsville and AZ'er rpandrew, will be driving in on Saturday to meet me as well.

You can PM me if you want to set something up or trade cell #'s.

Umm, now where did she run off too .. I haven't seen her in years .. Opps .. My mistake .. She was in the bathroom AGAIN .. :p
 
Carl...Welcome back home, and thanks for protecting our country! The other room you want to see in Atlanta is Mr. Cues II, which is on the opposite side of Atlanta from Marietta Billiards. For lessons you can see the guys at Georgia Billiard Academy, which is very close to Marietta Billiards. I will also be in Atlanta teaching in less than two weeks. If you're interested PM me.

welcome back and thank you for your service! mr. cues, marietta billiard club, cues billiards, classic billiards are all fine places to check out. cues billiards has a small weekly 9 ball tourney tonight. i am at mr. cues for something just aqbout every other day. i want to meet up and shoot send a pm. there are a whole bunch of people who offer lessons here and most are quite good. if you are looking for some tourneys let me know i can give you a few dates, times and places and the equipment they have.

welcome back "home" and thank you for doing what you do! when you get to marietta billiard club tell amanda & johnny archer i said hello (ralph).....also, if you ask amanda "really sweet", she will probably let you play on the first 2 tables as you walk in thru the doors.....usually only played on by the "pros""..........great cook there too. you can't beat his bar-b-que sandwich! there is not better anywhere!
 
Wish I would of seen this yesterday. We shot a few tables away from each other. I was there hittin em around while my girlfriend watched. Welcome back and thank you very much for your service to our country.
 
Looks like we all missed each other. I was on the brutal gold crown near the front windows. :embarrassed2:
